På Danmarks Biavlerforenings generalforsamling skulle der vælges tre bestyrelsesmedlemmer og en suppleant. Knud Graaskov genopstillede til formandsposten og blev uden modkandidat enstemmigt valgt med stor applaus fra generalforsamlingen.
Arne T. Henriksen ønskede at genopstille, mens Flemming B. Thorsen og Rigmor Johannesen på forhånd havde meddelt, at de ikke genopstillede til bestyrelsesposterne. Generalforsamlingen takkede Flemming og Rigmor for det store arbejde de har udført i Danmarks Biavlerforenings bestyrelse, og ikke mindst i hhv. fagligt udvalg og uddannelsesudvalget.
Der var fire kandidater til de fire poster, og Arne T. Henriksen, Ivan Nielsen og Peter Nissen blev valgt til bestyrelsen.
Helle Sehested blev valgt til suppleant.
